Nfu-Oh No 52 (Layered)

This little flakie is my favourite out of my Nfu-Ohs. No 52 is a sheer purple base with green-teal-blue opalescent flakies and shimmer. I usually wear it over a dark polish — green, blue or purple. It’s amazing like that. But today, I decided to add it on top of my previous manicure — a light-to-medium turquoise.

I used one coat to keep it as light as possible. While sheer, the base colour of No 52 is still dark enough to have tinted my nails darker.

I think layering is one of the fastest ways to freshen up a manicure. And if I want to make it as insta-dry as possible, I also slap on a matte top coat. My poison of choice is Nubar’s V for Men matte top coat.

Doesn’t hurt that flakies look insanely cool mattified!

I really like the formula of the Nfu-Ohs I’ve tried; it’s so easy to control and just generally pleasant to work with. Not to mention the bottle itself is a work of art with its corset design.

I’ve swatched No 52 before over a dark green and left it glossy, so you can check that out as well. 🙂

Do you have any Nfu-Ohs? Do you like them as much as I do? And if you don’t, I recommend picking some up; they’re so much fun!

I buy my Nfu-Ohs at Viis, which while based in Estonia also has international shipping.
