Top Five of 2010

After some serious decision-making, here are my favourite polishes from this year. It was difficult enough to make the decisions so these are in no particular order.

Sally Hansen X-treme Wear Mystic Lilac

Orly Space Cadet

Essie Going Incognito

Lumene Trouble Maker

Alix Avien No 187

Also, honourable mentions of summer polishes I don’t have pictures of: China Glaze Watermelon Rind, Alessandro Turquoise Ocean, Orly It’s Not Rocket Science and Halley’s Comet (with its army of dupes).

Have a great time today! ๐Ÿ™‚ And I’ll see you next year with a brand new giveaway.

  1. Glad to see one of the ones we swapped made the top 5. I couldn’t possibly pick only 5, and doubt I could even narrow it to 10, but Nfu Oh #39 would definitely be on the list. I reeeeeeeeally need to curtail my polish buying this year. One per week, 52 for the year should be plenty. It’s also about all I still have room for! I can’t deal with having pretties I don’t wear and unless I grow a few more sets of hands…I have too much polish! Going to have to find something you want to swap for that AA 187 though (maybe when the spring SH’s come out), it’s just too gorgeous to let get away.

    • Oooh, I just love that SH! It’s so pretty. ๐Ÿ™‚ I *need* wear Purple Gala as well soon, because it probably would have made into favourites if I’d actually worn it besides swatching it.
Glad to hear you’re liking the Nfu-Ohs as well. ๐Ÿ™‚

And I seriously need to do a 187-hunt, as it’s a discontinued polish and I only know of two stores that sell it. I currently have the one I bought for myself and the one for the giveaway. I need at least a couple more for swaps methinks. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Oh no! Why do these silly polish companies persist in discontinuing the most gorgeous shades? It’s a conspiracy I tell ya!
