Here’s the 24th task of the challenge: nails inspired by a book. Or, in my case, books. According to Goodreads, I read something around 300 novels a year, and immediately after finishing I loooove most of them. 😛
So, instead of going with one novel, I scanned in and printed out sections from a few novels I’ve read recently and used them to do the so-called “newspaper nails”.
I started with a base of a the beautiful Alessandro Milkshake — an aptly named pale pink two-coater.
And then added a couple of layers of printed words.
All I can say about this… about time I tried this! I love the result and I’m eager to try it again one of these days.
MLV.
such a cute idea! I still have yet to try this
Thank you! And comes recommended. 😉
I love the scattered effect you got with these, and using words from novels you enjoyed is such an awesome, personal touch!
Thanks! That was the idea and really made the mani more special for me. 🙂
