Keeping it Sparkly

I’m catching up! This was a quick one fromย December. I needed an out-the-door in a few minutes mani and there’s really nothign as quick drying as a chrome and crackle top.

Could have kept it to just chrome, but that’s too unforgiving on my damaged nails. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Here’s China Glaze Millennium with Isadora Pink Fame on top.

IMO, Pink Fame is still the most stunning glitter crackle top coat invented. It’s so insanely sparkly with the holo glitter and the cool light pink. Perfect with silver. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Besides being eye catching, this mani was pretty much dry by the time I finished with the last nail. Can’t ask for more than that! ๐Ÿ˜€

The Glitter of Doom

I had heardย things about MAC polishes. Non-flattering things. But I could not resist Everything That Glitters. Mostly because I don’t have access to its more favorably formulated lookalikes..

This polish is so “me” I can’t even… So, no regrets on that front. The look is utter love at first sight.

But the formula… I almost cried! The glue-y gooey thickness of it. Just no. No, thank you. I think I might be turned off from MAC polishes for good. I just can’t justify the quality-price relationship. (MAC lipsticks are a totally different thing though ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

As for this one, I’ll add a bit of thinner and hope for the best. ๐Ÿ™‚

Christmas in Tallinn

Extravagance is the Order

I’ve been pondering OPI’s DS polishes for ages. For some reason I just don’t want to pay the price of five China Glazes for a single bottle…

But in the end I caved and bought Extravagance.

I am so glad I did! It’s insanely pretty. The regular spiel about pictures not doing it justice and they really don’t! A deep, vampy berry pink with tons of holo and prismatic shimmer. Tons. The depth of this polish is stunning. Way better than any regular scattered holo I can think of.

I repeat again. No justice whatsoever in the pics. ๐Ÿ˜€

Lady Luck

I remember how excited I was when I bought the Gem Crushes almost a year ago. ๐Ÿ™‚ But then my horror of glitter removal came to play and I still haven’t tried all of them…

Still, better later than never and here’s the gorgeous Lady Luck.

Here’s three coats of the lovely raspberry glitter with large holo pieces. Beautiful, but definitely a top coat eater.

I think the last week in September. I already miss summer and flowers…

Watermelon. Again

So what do you do when you’re wearing a pink called Watermelon and have a polish called Watermelon Rind in your collection?

You make watermelon nails. ๐Ÿ˜‰

This was freehand over a base of Essie Watermelon with Sinful Colors Innocent, China Glaze Watermelon Rind and a black nail art polish from Flormal.

Yum! ๐Ÿ˜‰ (And speaking of yum, there’s a delicious carrot cake my sister made for me…)

Almost Over Watermelon

I’mย still working myself through my summer polishes. Here’s an Essie I picked up at a clearance sale in spring.

Two coats of Essie Watermelon, which the most perfect watermelon pink. Seriously. It’s the exact colour of the juiciest watermelon you can think of.

Kinda makes me crave some even if I’m more of a regular melon kinda girl.

Yum! Autumnal food, anyone? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Girly Nails

Here’s another spring polish that only got its chance on a cold rainy pre-autumn day. ๐Ÿ˜‰

OPI Pedal Faster Suzi! is another beauty. It’s a delicate light cool pink with flecky silver shimmer. Beautiful and very girly.

I should have worn it in spring when I took this picture in the Old Town. ๐Ÿ˜‰
